User reviews for the Sony MDR-ZX770BN

Albert Gimazov writes: In general, I’m satisfied with the headphones, only the stability of Bluetooth sometimes fails them. If you listen to the headphones so that the sound source is on your desk, everything is in order. But if you put the phone in your pants pocket in winter, get dressed, and go outside, when you turn your head, the signal may temporarily disappear, or the sound may begin to stutter. Not very nice. The headphones have active noise cancellation, but it works at an average level, muffles mainly low-frequency hum. It is useful if, for example, walking along a busy road or in the subway. But the middle frequencies are suppressed much worse, and the high-frequency noise is almost not suppressed. So do not expect that by enabling this option, you will find yourself in silence. Just the sound around will become less pronounced and will not interfere so much with listening to music.

Roman Fedosov writes: Excellent headphones. The earpads are soft, pleasant. The headband is covered with a soft filler. They press on the head and ears very lightly, almost imperceptibly. I listen to headphones with the iPhone 6S and Macbook Pro – the sound is amazing. I’m not a professional, of course, it’s hard for me to describe the sound, but it suits me 100%. There are bass. There are medium and high; everything is in place. My favorite songs are a pleasure to listen to. Noise reduction works. I would say that it drowns out ambient sounds by an additional 35%. When compared with similar headphones but without this technology.

Koryakov Oleg writes: Headphones made a controversial impression on me. On the one hand, they are well-assembled, body materials are pleasant, ear pads are comfortable. It’s immediately obvious – a brand. They support the AptX codec, which significantly affects the quality of sound reproduction. We also add here the stable operation of Bluetooth. The headphones keep the connection well and do not fall off the phone for some reason. There are no complaints. But there are also disadvantages. For example, if this is your only headphones and you want to connect them to a computer, play games, or watch a movie, forget about it. Apparently, because the headphones use the old Bluetooth 3 protocol, the headphone has a noticeable delay in playing sounds. This is expressed because if you shoot in the game, you will hear the sound only a second after that. The same goes for the movie. You look at the actor who says something, his lips move, but you don’t hear the sound. It appears only after a second. Therefore, these headphones are only for music, where the delay is not significant, and for talking on the phone. Although talking so is not very comfortable.

Clementine Matvienko writes: I bought headphones for watching TV and for a laptop. It turned out that they are not connected to the TV, and if connected via a wire, the sound becomes fresh, flat, inexpressive. I suffered a couple of days and handed it back to the store. It is strange that when connected through a wire, the headphones turn into complete horror in terms of sound.

Vladimir Gorbunov writes: For a long time, I tried to pick up headphones for myself, with which you could wear glasses. This is a big problem. I stopped at Sony MDR-ZX770BN, and successfully, with my glasses, I can listen to these headphones for several hours in a row. They have a pretty good design. I also like the sound quality. I would call it pretty balanced. There are basses, but not excessive, there are good mids, so the vocals sound natural, there are highs, but they don’t cut the sound. They sound soft. I really liked using NFC to connect headphones to the phone. It is enough to bring the phone to the headphones, and they instantly connect, conveniently and.
